Yep, I guess that's what we have become. Okay it was about 7pm-ish, and I was laying down in my room. I heard the door bell ring. I asked, my boyfriend if he knew who it was. He said no, and so I went and answered the door, it was a BUNCH of kids for around our streets. They look all freaked out. Well you can guess what they had. It was a tiny kitten, about 10-14 days old. It eyes are open. But not it's ears. I had asked them where they got it from, they told me a abandoned house on one of the streets. They told me that it mother was dead. At the time I had thought they where telling lies. So I told them I would take it and care for it. :3 We used the oven to heat up some towels, and wrapped them around him. Seeing that he was freezing at the time. Well at about 8pm I had noticed these yellow looking things all over his fur. I had dismissed it as sawdust. When we got him somewhat warm, I took a closer look at those yellow things, I noticed that they where all single cells, then I remember the kids saying something about his mother being dead. At this time I kinda freaked out. I knew what they where, but the fact was they where ALL over him, they where maggot eggs. Upon inspection of his mouth, I saw some in it, then I knew that he must have been trying to suckle from his mother. So his mother was dead. That would be the only explanation on why he would have so many on him. He is tiny. I will try and post some pictures later.

I though it was funny when one of the kids asked me if we knew how to take care of cats, then another one replied, "Yeah they do, they got lots of cats." Well he is doing fine now, I need to go to the store and get some kitten milk and things of that nature. But yeah. :3

We where going to call him lucky, that is if he had survived. He died at about 9:30. He was just to weak, his mom dead, it was a miracle that he had made it to our house. I know it's not my fault, but I still fell, like it was.
